1) How do you determine the keywords you use for our Max-SEO Configuration?
We do our research. We look at your closest two competitors, and also use Search Engine tools to turn up current popular keywords. Then we plug them into your new WordPress admin options, available as a result of the plugins we install.
2) What do the plugins you install do for our company?
We install and configure four plugins: HeadSpace (a keyword, title, meta-tag, and comprehensive SEO program), XML Sitemaps (creates sitemaps for Search Engines), Site Index (Sets up visitor sitemap that also helps Search Engines catalog your site), and Sociable (social bookmarking tool that lets visitors recommend your stories and posts). These plugins will run on “autopilot” for the most part, keeping your site, and every update you make search optimized, Google aware, and social media savvy. And, we’ll provide a cheat sheet with tips on some more optimization you can do when you write new posts. 4/5/08 UPDATE: For WordPress 2.5 installations, we have found that the Site Index plugin is not updated yet. We will install it, but not activate it until a newer version is available. We are also adding “SEO-Image” to our set of SEO tools on installation, as this adds keywords and phrases to image “alt” tags, and thus contributes to your SEO.”
3) What do I need to do after you complete the Max-SEO installation?
Most of what needs doing is handled automatically by your new package of plugins. Beyond that, we give you a cheat sheet in PDF format that tells you how to use the HeadSpace plugin when you write new posts or pages.
3) Is there anything else you do to Maximize my WordPress Website for SEO?
Yes. Glad you asked. Included in our Max-SEO Configuration package is the installation of several different blog “pinging” services — these are services that accept notification when you write and publish a new story/post, and list and publicize them around the internet. Note that beyond this service, which maximizes your existing site, there may be desired revisions to pages that will make them stronger for SEO — we’ll quote you on that if need be.
4) How are these Plugins in the Max-SEO package maintained and updated?
Good question. Each of the plugins in our set was created and is maintained by a talented WordPress plugin programmer that operates independently of WebFadds.com. They have support available at their websites, and periodically upgrade their plugins — independent of WebFadds.com. You should make a donation to the programmers at their sites, since all of the plugins in this package are offered free of charge — but your donations help these programmers keep updating and improving their work. Note that WebFadds.com is not responsible for maintenance, upgrades, performance issues, or any other concerns related to the functioning of these plugins after installation. You will find links to the plugin developers in your “Plugins” area upon login to your WordPress admininistration area.
